Prepare for the Worst, and Hope for the Best
Hope for the Best. This situation has ambiguity. On one hand, some of us are hoping that a developed country will soon discover a cure. On the other, staying at home may cause a prevailing sense of uncertainty. How to stay focused? If you write? then how to improve the skills, especially at a time when you must stay indoors.
What will make you settle with this new situation? How will you rectify the mental constraints and try and move forward? I am 100% optimistic that we will find a cure. But I am certain that if we do not put a lid on this? then it could get worst.
Putting a lid on it also means that we use tactics like social distancing. And quarantine to help flatten the curve. You have basic tools like a computer, microphone, cellphone, and a reading device. With these tools, you can make videos, write memorable content, move and shake and do so much more.
Even though, the tools have become cheaper and easier to get – our time has turned the tables on us. We have time that is forcefully given to us. We cannot set ourselves free from this crooked phase.
The positive side is that people who enrolled in all the free courses soon realize that learning is akin to mental freedom. So they will not be able to finish these courses. And then they wait.
On the brighter side of it all. As I have said before, if you are a writer and you do not feel like writing, then take a pen and paper and start drawing. Here is an example. I draw on a drawing tablet but you can use a drawing pen and paper. Use the older and more reliable way of drawing.
Let me bring you back to this world of happiness and Netflix. I suggest that you watch one movie in a week and distribute your time.
Spend your time wisely by reading, exercising, working and eating healthy. Spend this time reflecting and thinking about your future. For example, you can decide that you will never waste your time in the future. And you will try and save time. Spend it on productive activities and ensure honesty. You will rise. I repeat. You will rise. And lift yourself up. And defeat this pandemic.
